Our wedding story
Daniel proposed me in December 2021 (in Zaporizhzhia city)
We both moved to Lviv and all our planes changed dramatically
We had to forget our dream about wedding on the seaside, because my hometown city was occupied. Also another problem occurred - we didn't have guests, all dispersed to different parts of the world: one part of my family were in the territory which was occupied and Daniel's part of the family was abroad.
We seriously thought whether we could have our wedding.
But we decided: "We live only once, so despite all obstacles we will have our party".So firstly we went to register our marriage legally and started our preparation for the wedding.
Interesting fact
I had a terrible mood during the registration process
Before the ceremony we were told that I have to take my husband's surname, when we clearly told them earlier that I will keep my own last name.
The reason: I didn't feel secure to have no passport during the war, because If I decide to change my surname I have to make all documents from zero and be with no passport for some period of time.
The problem was solved: I kept my own surname! But it was really stressful
BTW, after war I'm planning to take Daniel's surname.
Then, we started to plan our wedding, but till the end we couldn't decide the date (we got known it only in two weeks before the wedding).
This dress was my favourite one! I felt beautiful and happy in it. So I had no doubts that it was MY dress.
Then we planned the place, the ceremony and the guest list. It was super hard, because we felt so insecure because of the war.
Couple weeks before the wedding, a missile fell so close to our apartment that I really thought that it can be our last minute of life... I even wrote to my sister goodbye words "I love vou". So the main goal for our wedding was "to be alive at our wedding"
Then everything went smoothly. We had a really nice and cozy wedding. We had 20 guests, some of family members managed to join us.
And here some of the photos from our wedding
